Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT)
An ideal self-paced program for those who want to play an important role in the healthcare field

Becoming a Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) is one of the fastest and smartest ways to enter the healthcare field and gain real clinical experience.
Phlebotomists play a vital role in patient care—every diagnosis often begins with accurate laboratory testing. This certification is ideal if you want to enter healthcare without spending years in school, build patient care hours as a pre-health student, or transition into the U.S. healthcare system as an internationally trained professional.
Our online program prepares you with essential skills in venipuncture, specimen processing, patient communication, safety protocols, and foundational medical knowledge. After completing the course and passing the national certification exam, you’ll be qualified to work in hospitals, labs, and clinics nationwide.
Phlebotomy isn’t just a certification; it’s a strong first step toward a successful healthcare career.

Phlebotomy Internship Requirements
Phlebotomy Technicians must complete a clinical of 30 venipunctures as a part of the Phlebotomy Technician clinical core requirements to graduate from our program. Each draw must be supervised and signed off on a blood draw log and externship forms that will be provided to the student.
Urgent care centers, doctor’s offices, hospitals, and other clinics are popular internship locations. We recommend students begin their internship by the end of module eight. Virtual alternatives are available for those who cannot find an internship in their area.
