This realistic, adult-size practice arm is designed to closely simulate real patient interaction. It features anatomically accurate cephalic and basilic veins, along with multiple puncture sites located on the dorsal hand, lateral wrist area, and cubital fossa of the forearm. The IV training arm features self-sealing veins that automatically reseal after each stick, enabling repeated use and extended hands-on practice to build skill and confidence.

Phlebotomy Internship Requirements

Phlebotomy Technicians must complete a clinical of 30 venipunctures as a part of the Phlebotomy Technician clinical core requirements to graduate from our program. Each draw must be supervised and signed off on a blood draw log and externship forms that will be provided to the student.

Urgent care centers, doctor’s offices, hospitals, and other clinics are popular internship locations. We recommend students begin their internship by the end of module eight. Virtual alternatives are available for those who cannot find an internship in their area.
